Rav4 180

Hi,is it just me ie few cans on a friday eve or wat , just been mail shot by mr T re buying a new rav4 to replace my 4.3 D4D180,low & behold seems thay have binned the 180 in favor ov some 150 thing .......shell shocked in the least.any one any idea if this is true??? have just been on Mr T`s website,& i dont see a 180 version any more!!!! Cant be true! Can it??????? Help

The 150 version is now top of the range.. No sunroof option is available any more either ... :crybaby:

The change was made to attempt to reduce the number of hinges. And lose some weight.

Having driven Anchorman's recent 150, I would have no hesitation in having that engine, then sticking on a Lindop Chip Kit (where is ma ONE bloody golf ball...???). If anything, I think it would mildly outstrip the T/SR180 in said guise.

Och Naw Charlie...but the actual power delivery (Bothy would call it a "curve"....) of the more recent 150hp Ravs is deffintootly better than it was....but the extra 35-40hp of the Lindop kit still edges it...

The Lindop Chip Kit will give you lotsa change out of 30 ponies, matey....PITY YOU'RE IN THAT ENGLAND OR YOU COULD HAVE A TRY and prove for yourself.

just googled "lindop".....wtf...looks a brill device,10 mins to fit & a lifetime of fun.stiff decision now,do i upgrade the rav next april 2 one of those 150 things & have a lindop upgrade kit or do i buy a lindop & stick it on the trusty 180 now
