Just for the record.

Had both new Nexen tyres fitted on the back and only cost £18 for both, and that was also putting the better tyre on the spare

Well pleased with that

Been driving round in it this morning and they seem pretty quiet to me.

A local tyres place has recently recomended a set of Continental CrossContact Winter to me for my T180, at £175 a corner fitted for 225/65-17"s.

No too bad! :)

I have tried loads of different brands of tyres and to be honest found very little difference in any of them. The only ones I had issues with were Pirellis. I have the Hankooks on the T180 and they have a great tread wear number so should last well. They feel just like the Bridgestones and perform no worse/better in all conditions. £110 a corner

As i said before if SWMBO was doing a lot of motorway running then we would have put a better brand tyre on,but for what she does and use the car for i feel happy with the Nexens.

We also looked at a RAV convertible yesterday T reg,and we noticed that that had the same Nexens fitted on the front and Dunlops on the back, same as what our Rav had on when we bought it??

Good choice - I had them on my T180 last winter.

Good price too.

And good to see you are getting the narrower/ higher profile ones.

Continental also say you can run them during summer without any problem - but you'd obviously be better off changing them over and keeping the tread for winter.
