Not sure on later models but mine does not, but someone posted in the past a procedure to achieve this if it was not programed as standard

I do not believe auto locking was ever set-up as standard for the UK delivery, this is usually a feature appreciated in USA.

However, many of the alarm features can be configured on alarm installation and set-up. I have attached an installation guide for one model of a Toyota alarm. This is probably not the precise version for your alarm but the configuration features may be the same. You can probably download the exact version from the Toyota technical website for 3 euros

Alternatively you could try the set-up procedures in the attached manual at your own risk.

(If you do fancy a gamble be aware that you might mess up your alarm set-up and require dealer assistance for a fee)

I searched all of Owner>Accesory Installation Manuals for the RAV4 A2 looking for this file and came up empty

I am having trouble finding an accessory and security submenu for the RAV4.2. Do you need to be logged in? Can someone link or attach this file please?

Go to the website

Click on "General" menu top left,

Select "Accessory Installation Manuals"

Click "Search AIM"

Select "RAV4" "A2" "Vehicle Security System" as appropriate from the pull down menus

You now get all the installation and setting guides, pick the one that is the same as your alarm manual that came with the car.

Note in my case my alarm is a TVSS IV-D the only settings manual is for a TVSS IV-S the installation manual covers both.

My personal guess is they are the same/similar, but please do not blame me if I am wrong as I have not tried reprogramming my alarm yet using this data :)

Got it thanks. I was browsing that same AIM search from Owner not General, I wonder why noting came up!

Anyways,the next step is identifying which alarm my MY2000 RAV4.2 has. Any ideas?

Check your car manual/s, my Toyota folder had a thin accessory insert that was the alarm user guide. This stated the alarm model number on the front.
