I've had my Tsport since last july cant fault it, still havent seen anyone in the N wales area with one yet, a few vvti's in the area but not many, just how i like it.

One thing thats bugging me is a couple of months ago I noticed something different about the celicas I was passing, I realised they didnt look as good as mine, the simple reason being is where the front Badge is placed on the bonnet, these all have what looks like an air intake or part of the radiator with the bagde placed over it whereas mine is just placed on the bonnet, anyone know the reason for this cos it really is bugging me. If I had to guess it would be that they were imports, standard with vvti's or just older/newer models. I prefer my version it makes the bonnet look beefier.

I've found the car that matches it near identically on performance, the Golf VR6 and thats from 0 - 140+, but i think the tsport just starts edging the golf at the top end.

The difference with the Badge placement is due to the differently shaped grille.

You're probably not aware of a facelift that occured recently (2003 ?), facelift had the following changes that I know of:

Wider grille (with Badge placed above it) - I like both styles.

Darker interior - good.

Gone are the italic numbers on the speedo & rev counter - bad.

Different options available.

Slightly different rear lights (circular reverse lights built into the cluster similar to facelifted mk3 MR2 roadster).
