Cowboys And Aliens

I saw this movie yesterday and quite liked it overall, its a cowboy and Indian movie with a difference lol, instead of the norm where they are usually fighting each other they team up to fight back against the Alien invaders who have taken their wives and children along with their gold, the gold being the main reason why the Aliens have come to earth, they move from planet to planet, extract the gold and move on.

Some of the main actors in the movie have a roll reversal from the characters we are used to seeing them play, the main let down for me being Harrison Ford, he just doesn't cut it for me as a tough bad guy which he is supposed to be in this movie, Daniel Craig i thought played his roll well as the main character and hero.

There are some good scenes and special effects in this movie with a 'difference' and i think its well worth a gander, i went along with my son to see it and he thoroughly enjoyed it.

I rate this film 6 out of 10, maybe a little harsh but it would have been 7 but for Harrison Ford whom i just didn't find convincing enough.

I enjoyed Cowboys & Aliens, I thought it was really well done. Found it interesting that Harrison Ford did an Indiana Jones movie with the original James Bond (Sean Connery), and then this one with the newest Bond (Daniel Craig)!
