Air Bag Light On Constantly

Hi all, I have a 05 plate verso T-Spirit and the airbag light is on constantly (flashing red on the dash). I've had my friend check it out on his code reader and it's stating that there's an open circuit within the airbag on the passengers seat. He then phoned his contact at Toyota who stated that you have to replace the whole top backrest portion of the seat at £800 plus without labour. He also stated that this is a common fault with Toyota's. Has any body else had the same or simlar and if so what was the fix.

Hi, i find that this problem occurs for me when the seat is moved. What i do is turn the engine off and put my hand under the seat and "wiggle" the cables.i then restart the car and the airbag light dissapears.
