as title says, the interior lights dont light up when doors open, the buzzer dont sound when you leave key in igition, the buzzer dont sound when you leave the lights on.

and my sister said since i went routing around looking for a fuse the 'remote' central locking isnt working

anyone any ideas ?

These items are served by fuses Nos 5 and 56. No 5 is a 30 Amp located in the fuse box on the drivers side of the engine compartment. No 56 is a 7.5 Amp located in the fuse box to the right and below the steering column. The door locking is No 46 a 25 amp located in the fuse box behing the glove box.

i gave a look throught the manual but it just gave short abbrevations what the fuses were for.

it it common for so many to go together ?

The items you mentioned are all linked because of the alarm sensing the door lights and the interior lights and the sensors that indicate a door not properly closed etc. Many of the fuses cover multiple functions and there is often more than one fuse in the circuit.

ok i tried changing all 3 fuses and still no joy

i will try and explain the symtoms better to see if that makes any difference.

when you open any of the 4 doors neither front or back roof interior lights come on, but the lights on the door itself does come on.

when you turn the key to ignition lights, the roof lights then come on

when you take the key out of the ignition and leave the sidelights/headlights on the buzzer does not sound

when the key if switched to off and you open the door the buzzer does not sound

when you have the door open, switch on the ignition lights, then switch off ignition the buzzer sounds for 10 seconds.

the remote central locking does not work, have tried the spare key to make sure

central locking with the key in the door lock doesnt even work
