Hi all,

New to the forum, 1st post an' all.

We've just got a 2011 Yaris T Spirit. Very pleased with it. The fuel economy, the drive. Its very comfortable too.

It didn't come with a reversing camera though & my other half has got it into her head she wants one fitted . So I'll be checking out existing posts about the subject in the hope its something I can do myself.

The camera she bought off eBay looks to be the wrong type and there doesn't seem to be an existing video lead tucked away above the number plate light. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for the warm welcomes.

After a call to the dealer asking about the cost, I was able to work out that the av cable doesn't span the length of the car & the main cost involved were the parts. This has bought me a bit of time with the misus and given me an idea on the amount of work required.
