badgerman, your car is the lower spec GS and the fog lamps came with the GLS (which I own) and the CD version.

Unless the wiring to the lamps and control stalk are in place, then there is not much you can do. You will have to get a higher spec stalk from the breakers and see if the lamps will work. also there is a front fog warning lamp light in the instrument panel.

If the wiring is already in place then the fog lamps will be plugged in already. Just get the stalk.

I assume the bumper has been replaced with a higher spec version, which had the lamps.

Anyway why worry about the front fog lamps, I hardly ever use them, and they should only legally be used in fog conditions.

Would you believe it. Just after my reply I went to Brighton on Friday evening, and you guess it, there was fog! It was very warm too.

Driving home on the motorway I had my front and rear fogs on with dash lights indicating the fact.

The fronts do help too.

Badgerman, Like I said before, see if the wiring circuit is in place before getting the indicator stalk. If the front fog lights are wired up/plugged in, check to see if a 15A fuse is fitted in top left of interior fuse box(located by drivers right leg). If it missing but has contacts it may be wired ready for the fuse. The relay is shared according to the handbook.

The front fog indicator is left most in instrument panel. Check if a bulb is fitted.

If all the wiring is in place then the indicator multi-function stalk all you need.
