Which Tow Bar

Hi, I hope someone can help - I've got a Previa GS Auto ( on the log book it says it was registered in January 2000 in the UK but it's a V plate so we presumed it was an import, I spoke to Toyota today and they confirmed it was manufactured in July 1999.

I'm wanting to get a tow bar to fit it but am struggling as most seem to go from around 1990 to 1998 and then 2000 onwards, my mum spoke to a scrap yard who say they have one (I'd prefer to only pay for a second hand one) on a 1996 previa which will fit our car, I'm just wondering if this information is right?
