Add 'lane Change' Function To Indicators

Hi,

Jan 2007 'facelift' 5 door TX3 2.0 diesel. Is it possible to add 'lane change' function to the indicator 'stalk'? That is where you just briefly flick the indicator switch up(or down) so it doesn't latch, and the indicators automatically flash a few times then stop. Could it be done by changing the indicator relay to one from another model? Where is the relay located and is it easy to change?

Thanks

Paul

This function should already be on the vehicle as it is on most. The stalk has an indent position half way in its movement that enables the indicators to flash as long as you hold the stalk in that position, it springs back when released. The flasher circuit is the same for both, only the switch in the column should have the indent and latch.

Hi,

I'm after the function where you don't need to hold the indicator stalk in position, you just briefly flick the stalk up or down, it returns to the centre position, but the indicators continue to flash, usually 3 times.

Thanks
