Just to add to this a little, I've recently sold my 1998 n/a privately for £7500.00

From what I can recall this was over what the book price dictated but I knew as soon as someone viewed they'd 'have' to have it.

Maybe a little arrogant I know but having sold mine which in all fairness is very similar in spec to yours albeit a rev5 for the price *I* wanted, you might surprise yourself.

Bit of advice, with a car like yours don't drop the price too much - stick to your guns a little. It certainly paid off when I shrugged my shoulders and remarked that "I'd sooner keep the car than come down on the price."

I'll give it a shot at around £6500 I think.

You have to see the car to get a good idea of it's worth.
