Good day,

I am driving a Toyota Avensis Wagon (T25) 2.2 D-4D 150hp from 2006.

Till 3 weeks ago this car never fails but in a weekend he was complete dead ........ even the interior lightning hardly burned, the remote car (un)locking nearly works and the starter has not sufficient power to turn the engine ..................conclusion the Battery was passed away.

After installing a new Battery the car starts smoothly and at first sight there are no “failures” but we are 3 a 4 weeks further and I observed the following singularities:

• A thick blue cloud from the exhaust during cold start.

Before the Battery replace absolutely no cloud from the exhaust was visible during could start.

I already use a tin of “Toyota injector cleaner”…………. No result.

• During start a penetrating smell of gasoline (Diesel)

• An increase of fuel consumption during normal operation;

- Average fuel consumption BEFORE battery replacement = 1 liter per 15 km’s

- Average fuel consumption AFTER battery replacement = 1 liter per 13 km’s

• During acceleration there is no smoke from the exhaust visible

• The diagnostic comp is fault code free.

Does have someone an idea what can be wrong??

Greetings,

Ryan
