I have been a member of the site for a wee while now and I love it.

Very informative.

I have an sr180 registered 04/09 with 29000 miles on the clock and I love it.

I have read on the site about engine rebuilds due to excessive oil consumption.

My Rav is not using excessive oil but it has got me thinking(worried).

Is the warranty on the rav 3years or has toyota extended the warranty to 5 years.

If I read their site, it only refers to the five year warranty on new cars.

I do not want to trade the car as it does everything I want.

The thought of engine trouble after the 3 year warranty has me worried.I appologise if it has been covered before bit I have to get this clear in my head.

Thank you all for the helpand for a great site.

Cheers.

Bobby

What Charlie says is true, although as far as i know the problems have only been on earlier 2006/2007 models although as always I stand to be corrected  Stew
