The Gen 7 rears are a straight swop in a Gen 6, with just a small gap either side.

The fronts however do require some welding, but loads of 6 owners have fitted them, so it can't be too difficult.

That`s brilliant I was more worried about the back than the front because that`s easyer to do and Im still contenplating buckets but back leather would look much better than boring fabric any day lol. Thank You

Have a search for a dedicated Celica Forum in the UK, you'll find some pics. there.

Bear in mind that if you want genuine black leather rear seats rather than a vinyl "leather lookalike", you will need to source them from the face lift model, introduced in late 2002. Apart from the very common black, there is also two-tone grey from the T Sport, then blue/black and terracotta from the "Blue" and "Red" special editions respectively.

Good luck in your search :)

Thank you I had the grey ones in my old celica vvti 2001 model and they were really comfertable. I have now sorced a set of front and rear seats and am winning bidder so hopefully will have them by the end of the week.

It there a way to change the colour of the gray ones as you do with leather do ya think?

Thank you
