Townace Ball Joints Help Needed

My mechanic says I need both ball joints replacing upper and lower, which sounds pretty extreme, it started knocking when going over bumps and pulls to one side.

Truth of the story is that I bought it recently from eBay with 12months mot, apart from the mint bodywork it is a complete lemon!

Anyway I am just gauging whether its worth fixing or better off scrapping.. On a 2wd CR21 frame where would be the cheapest place to source 2 x upper and lower ball joints and on this model does the upper ball joint mean a change of the entire suspension arm ?

Japarts do upper and lower ball joints for about £20 each. If CR21 2wd, there is no need to remove entire upper suspension arm. Removal requires a ball joint splitter and removal of four bolts. Don't give up on the Townace - as long as the engine/coolings good, they are worth persevering with and pretty much everything can be found online somewhere. Good luck.
