Hi all

Just last week taken delivery of spanking new Aygo Go with the Tomtom sat nav system and I have to say I am blown away by it.

There is however one feature that is driving me mad. :!Removed!: When I get near a speed camera, I get a warning, visually and an audible "ping". If I am listening to the radio the ping sounds over the top of the music being played which I don't mind. However, if I am listening to my USB stick, it cuts the music, does the ping and then restarts it. It may not sound much but if you are having a good sing along to the music, it is really irritating.

Now to my question.....how to I turn the !Removed! thing of!!! :censor: I've been through all the menus and I can't see it. Any thoughts out there?

Mine does not do that! Its default set. It might it I was using the satnav feature, but not normally if its just tracking. Have you looked in the safety features?

Check warnings for Points Of Interest.

Or connect the TomTom to your computer and

remove the SpeedCameras from within TomTom Home...

Hi

Thanks for the replies.

Grinner - yep checked all the menus including safety features....nothing in there.

Jan - Checked the POI, nothing in there. Used TomTom home and deleted the relevant files and it has worked....hooray!!!

I had hoped to be able to simply disable them using a command button but I can easily restore the deleted files if I need them.

Cheers

Ian
