Verso Reversing Parking Sensor Switch

Hi all, sorry if you all know this but I found this on another page in the forum. In my Toyota Corolla Verso T-180 there is a reversing sensor disable switch in the boot behind the drivers side rear light panel. it's quite small and I turned it off by storing the shelf. I thought I had a major electrica problem so I hope this helps someone else? cheers Brian

Wow!! If that is true, then a million thanks from here as I thought my rear parking sensor has broken and not used it for months.

I was going to sell my Verso, but just can't justify it as it has such low mileage (42K over 7 years :)), so going to pimp it up with a nice ICE system soon :).

Sorry to bring this topic back up again. I have had a look at my Corolla Verso (Oct 04) and cannot find the switch. I have checked the user manual but it illustrates that the switch is on the dashboard, but my model does not have this. Could anyone kindly point me to where to locate this switch please? Even better would be to have a photo to show the location.

Very many thanks for the information on the Verso reversing parking sensor switch. In our car it is on the passenger side a couple of inches above the floor of the boot on the side of the vehicle, near the back corner. A flush round black disc about half an inch in diameter which tilts, with white writing on it too small for me to read.

We could not find any mention of it in the handbooks I had read diligently although we did discover other useful information. So thank you again. Sheila
