Avensis T180 Colour Sat Nav Problem

hi changed Battery on my t180 07 plate recently know my sat nav unit stopped responding reads in chinese and broken english a program cannot be read please consult to a dealer :) doesnt play cds or ought anyone know how to reset without visiting MR T's place. help much apprieciated thanks.

You need to hard reset the unit, take out the dvd, disconnet the Battery for about 10 minutes, connect the Battery terminal and insert the DVD and it should work.

If you are bit advance, then take out the GPS unit fuse to hard reset it.

Hi members, I changed my Battery and my tns 300 sat nav in Avensis T-spirit started displaying all information in GERMAN, hence I can NOT set my destination as the menu is in GERMAN, and I can NOT see an option for LANGUAGE to change it, please help if you have come across and resolved a similar problem and thank you in advance.cam64

Take the DVD out of navigation system, below passenger seat, and insert it later. It should give you option to select the language then. Hope that helps.
