Cover For Rav4.2

I have a 2000-reg (2001 model) 3-door RAV4 NRG. At the moment it gets very infrequent use and spends a lot of time parked under a tree (no other space available!), getting covered in bird droppings :-(

I'm looking for an overall cover for it - good quality but not ridiculously expensive. It does not seem to be an item that Toyota produce, and many of the covers advertised on the web seemed to be 'general purpose' rather than specific for the model of vehicle.

Does anyone on the forum have experience of such covers and can make any recommendations please?

Mate be aware that most car covers will mark the car especially when it gets windy !!!

It would cause me concern,covering a wet vehicle,re creating conditions ideal for rust.

Don't know what it would do to paintwork aside from the previously mentioned rubbing.

Thinking also about "out of sight and out of mind"

Was going to say how about a gazebo open at the sides but the birds would tweet "cheers for the shelter,me old *****,this is a lot better than a tree when its raining and invite their mates!
