Automatic Folding Mirrors ?

I can fold the mirrors in On My T180 by pressing the button in on the centre console .. Is it possible for them to be wired ( In a simple way as I'm no auto spark !) so they auto fold like on My Jag ?? TIA.

Err..., how do they fold on your Jag, Charlie?

Auto fold - when you switch off ignition, the mirrors fold in.

Beemer does it if you exit the car and hold down button on key fob (and it closes windows and sunroof).

Also, when you put it in reverse, the mirrors move down for easy parking. Then move back up when out of reverse.

Should be possible on T180. But I'd rather trust someone with expertise of electronics. Luckily the forum has a resident one

i was thinking about it also. they are selling it on a czech web page here: Czech supplier -ca 65euro (not tested, you should ask the seller, if it is compatible with our RAV4)

or the other solution (ca 120Euro) from japanparts: Japanparts

about the automatically closing windows, on my car it is possible to mount additional 4 modules to my alarm system (META). one costs ca 50 euro.

prices are of course for the people as you (or me ), which can do it on your own.

surely it can be done, I did it on my 2007 XT5, I took it to a local car alarm installer (Securich MALTA)and installed an auto window lift module and it works perfect, also installed one for the windows, on locking car it auto lifts all 4 windows and close side mirrors and on ignition on auto open side mirrors.

Great function and very useful.
