I wanted to service my Toyota avensis 2.2 diesel 2008. From Toyota garage this week I told them also have got overheating problem with the car has it still got warranty . They Ve told me warranty runout. However after service they said your engine needs to change so they will exdend the warranty how come they exdended warranty they will do it for me the angina burning oil. Anyone out there tell me why the exdended warrenty.

Wasn't there a problem with the 2.2 oil burners in the Avensis?

yes, if he has the head gasket problem it's extended to 112k/7 years
