Roof Seam Covers

Just a bit of info really. When I bought my car, I noticed that the black plastic roof seam cover ends were sticking up, one at the front and one at the back. I don't know if anyone out there has the same problem. I thought of many ways of sticking them back down but its difficult to glue and find something to hold it down whilst waiting for the glue to set, plus could be messy.Today it was bugging me,so I lifted up the offending end and it comes un-clipped.So I bent the end of the plastic downward and clipped it back. All sorted now..If no one on has that problem, then sorry for the post.on the other hand if you get it later there is a solution

Snap – I wondered if this was a feature or sloppy workmanship. I haven't lifted it to see what is underneath. Maybe there's a drain-hole. Have you been able to see?

Blast - I reacted without fully reading your post. I have a habit of scanning text and only reading what I want to see! I'll get into trouble one day.

The thing is every thing on the car is grab and pull including this strip. Under the strip is just like a carpet gripper. J C just gently prise up that front edge and lift it about 4-5 inches, you will hear it click un-done , then curve it back under itself not too hard so as it does't stretch the plastic then offer it back and push it flat job done.
