"010 yaris 1.4 D4D oil service light comes on despite it not due a service for another 3000 miles ive reset light via trip A as per handbook alas it sometimes goes out but comes back on after a couple miles anyone got any ideas toyota main dealer reset it same as me but still coming on and flashing

How many miles on the car?

When was the last time and how many miles since the last oil change?

What grade of oil was used at last oil change?

Have you checked the oil level regularly and has it required topping up sice the last change.....If so was the same grade of oil used?

Not too sure what you mean by "reset light via trip A" as I am not aware that any warning lights can be reset by this method
