Hi new member here!

Just bought a new XT-R diesel automatic should get in it in a couple of weeks, was looking at a petrol auto but delivery time was 16wks and the diesel should hold it's value better ( am I right?).I needed a car that wasn't too expensive and could cope with poor roads in bad winter weather,I've been driving an automatic for over 4 yrs now so didn't want to go back to a manual

Rob. Hi and welcome to the Forum. You are a lucky chap !! The XTR Auto is a fabulous car . My neighbour has one and I drove it a few months back and absolutely loved it !!!

If I were to replace My T180 that is the car I would be buying....

The Diesel is well worth the outlay especially if You do high mileage and will absolutely hold its residual value far better than a petrol equivalent can do ..

Wee Charlie.

Any idea on real world mpg for the auto?

As long as it's better than 30 I'll be happy?

Hi Guys

I have a 2009 59 reg 2.0 Valvematic (Petrol) Auto (CVT)

On a long run, my wife gets 41 mpg!

"Around the doors" I average 36.4 mpg.

The above figures include a very small amount of "Sport Button" use.

I hope this helps.
