Front Seat Belt Replacement

Hi all,

I think I'm going to need to have the drivers seat belt replaced on my 03 avensis after my dog chewed it badly enough to cause some damage to it.

Does anyone know how hard/expensive thus is likely to be?

Buy one from scrappers

Disconnect Battery

leave 30 mins.

undo trim

remove seat

undo bolts and wiring

and reverse the order above

Will I need any special tools to remove seat and seat belt fixtures?

Nope

a decent socket set

and some tin flat blade screw drivers.

The seat belts are held in by a bracket and 1 bolt

you might have to remove the seat to make life easier.

Disconnect Battery and leave car to discharge as faliure to do this will make your air bags explode
