hello guys

i have a little dent on my front right wing and my front bumper needs to be replaced.

i just went to Jemca and they said it will be around 900 for the bumper and 400-500 for the wing to be repaired (all with paint job included)

i know that this is Toyota and that everything is good quality but i think it is very expensive.

i saw a lot of parts (unpainted) on the internet and i was wondering if anyone has replaced them but not with Jemca/Toyota.

i believe that i can get the parts from the internet for about 400-500 pounds and the rest will b just a paint job with fitting too.

other garages told me that it will cost me about 750-800 for all to be fixed. but it will b the same quality?

i don't know which way to go. I live in Bromley but i've been to several body shops in Croydon and Penge.

here are my photos:

Don't expect the paint job to be cheap. I had a couple of chips on a bumper and a bodyshop wanted £100 to do it. I used touchup as it was a small area. A local garage has a sign out quoting £60 for a chip and £50 for a scratch.

Why don't you just contact one of the mobile companies like Revive or Howard Basford etc to do the job at your house, i'm sure you could replace the broken fog light yourself from the photos it just looks like deep scratches in the bodywork.

Pete.

The only parts that need to be replaced is the fog light,

The wing and bumper will repair.

Under 400£

Get a smart repair done,

its only a small area

If the bumper isn't cracked I reckon both the wing and bumper are repairable by a good body basher. Ask a body sprayer how much it would cost to spray the bumper on its own and then double the price for the complete paintwork.

Bumpers can be repaired,

cost to spray a bumper is around £180>250

A good body workshop will also colour the doors with it to match the side of the car.

Some good body shop repair brilliantly and one of my friend had more damage than this. He ended up paying 500 for his car repairs and all done to satisfactory level.

In your case, fog light, bumper and front panel can be repaired easily and should not cost more than 400-500.

Hope it helps.
