Get it off one way or another asap, it can etch through your paintwork pretty quick.

Soak it well with shampoo/water and some kitchen roll.

A good soaking, kitchen roll and gentle application of a fingernail. Use loads of water!

Soak, soak and soak it again

Give it time and the vile stuff will soften and then can be washed off but I bet it has damaged the clear coat of your paint

A little biological washing detergent disolved in hot water. Use a piece of kitchen roll and hold it against the poo mark. Keep repeating for around 5 or 6 times. The enzymes in the detergent will break down the residue of the dive bomb.

Also you could try some clear vinegar - water solution. Bird poo tends to be mainly alkaline whereas vinegar is acidic.

Best results I have ever seen with a bird poo mark is with a cutting compound applied with an electric rotary pad. Has to be done by someone skilled, its mighty easy to go right through the layers....

Removing dried on poo I end up squirting it until covered with a white layer of pledge (other furniture polishes are availalble :) ), and leaving it for a few minutes. Then it wipes of easy.

How or if this works i not got a clue, but i am told that washing soda will shift it, idealy what you need to do is make a ring with a damp cloth around the bird poo fill the ring with luke warm water and put a few soda crystals in the water leave it for five minutes then wipe away then polish/buff the area.

As i say not used this method myself so i would do a test area first, but its suppose to work, sounds a bit harsh to myself to remove stubborn bird poo.
