Hello guys

Getting error code 55

I found out it is the crank knock sensor (rear)

either not connected or a short connection

Can someone tell me where its located on the engine

The supra is a 1995 jap spec N/A Auto mk4

Any help or suggestions welcome

Also how do you reset the ecu memory to wipe out the error code

Remove the ECU Fuse(s) from the fuse box under the bonnet or disconnect the live terminal from the Battery. Give it 15seconds or press the brake pedal down to discharge any small amount of current.

This should reset any error codes.

I've never had a knock sensor go on a Toyota engine before dude so dont know where it is im afraid.

I have had knock sensor wiring fail though.... I replaced the cable between the knock sensors and ECU and it fixed it.
