Hi all,

got a brand new Aygo with warranty but want to be prepared ;-).

I was looking for a workshop manual but didn't succeed. For my

former car, a BMW E34, I have a few but for the Aygo I found

only this:

Does anybody know this thing? I am a bit confused since the German

version of the webpage talks about "Komplette Bedienungsanleitung"

which translates to "user(!) manual". Well, the English text talks

about "Complete Repair Manual / Service Manual" which sounds good

and 6$ is not that expensive ;-) but possibly somebody knows this

thing already.

Apart from that, I also found the German book "Jetzt helfe ich mir

selbst". This stuff used to be very good 25 years ago but I noticed

they became a bit superficial in the last years.

I also read the thread about the Haynes manual coming soon so maybe

I should just wait.

Best would be the genuine Aygo workshop manual but I couldn't get

my hands on it...

Something like the stuff for the Yaris mentioned in this thread

Looking at the English, German (which I can read), Italian and Spanisch pages I'm thinking they did a semi-automatic translation.

All other text refers to the Workshop Manual, not a User Manual. Bit the Italian and Spanish pages also mention "user manual" if I'm not mistaking.

Weren't there rumours that there would be a Haynes manual in November or so this year?

Yes, that's my impression as well.

I would give it a shot for 6$, however, I have now idea about what this

funky company "tradebit" is at all. Never heard of it before -- is this

something serious or just another fraudulent crap? Also it seems one has

to install some special downloading programme in order to receive the

item ordered. (Un)fortunatley, my Unix platform is not supported.
