Putting 1.8 Vvtl-I Engine In A 01 Avensis Vvt-I

Hi,

I have a 2001 1.6 vvt-i Avensis, and instead of buying a T Sport Corolla, I decided to try fitting the engine from one into my car. I assume it has been done before, so if anyone has any links to a build, or even if anyone could share some info/advice on it, I would appreciate it. It'll be happening over the next few months so I plan on keeping a diary of the work to help the next person.

I like a challenge, so that'll make it more interesting anyway.

I have someone local that'll tackle the electrics, if it gets tricky, but I'll probably chance it anyway.
