I have a 1996 celica gt, its a auto import. For some strange reason the spray decided to just stop working the other day, wipers work fine but no water comes out the spray, i cant hear the motor for the pump working, have filled up the resivour and checked the fuses and all fine. Any ideas anyone?

Cheers

the pump mounted on the resevoir is bad. i had the same problem, best thing to do is go to a junkyard, and get one from there, or go to the local toyota dealer and pay about 50 bux for one

I would check to see if the nozzles are blocked first before spending your money.

Get a needle and prod the jets with it, be sure not to snap the needle however.

he does have a good point. also, make sure your hoses arent broke or cracked anywhere that u cant see... you could have a leak or like he said, could just be clogged

got a test light? just unplug the motor, put the light onto the live pin in the plug, and get some1 to flick the switch. if it lights up, uv got a circuit there, which means the motors probably gone! im not 100% sure on celicas, but on must cars, replacing it is just a case of pulling back the **** shield, pulling the motor out of the grommit that holds it in, and get totally soaked as all the water pours onto you :P then pop the new one back in its place
