Bought A Lindops 3Yr Sevice Plan

payed for a lindops(toyota) 3yr service plan for the car when bought new, (sevice and mot.) told the other day that it only covers 1 mot and 3 services. has anybody else had the same plan.

As you only need an MOT on car 3 years and older this will be correct. The last visit under the plan will be the first MOT and service.

sorry didnt explain it right what i meant was i purchased the extended 3yr plan after the first mot.

That is not what you said in your first post!.........You said you bought it when new..........The first MOT is at 3 years

when the car was bought new it came with 3 sevices and mot, as part of the deal, we were then offered an extended 3yr service and mot which we purchased. thinking it covered 3 services and 3 mot but it only covered 1 mot, so my point is has anybody else had the same plan thinking it covered 3 mot's.

so the person who bought it new got the 3 year plan plus MOT.

You are the second owner and bought an extended 3 year plan (so up to the car being 6 years old), and thought you would get another 3 MOTs as well but didn't, you just got one?

you should have some terms and conditions, have a look. on their site it says:

* The service plan covers the cost of a manufacturers service only. Cover does not extend to items that require replacing as a result of wear or tear, or any items not included in the routine service schedule. calls may be recorded or monitored for training purposes.

i'd give the sales guy a call. he may have thrown in a MOT as a sweetener but not as part of the serice plan.
