Radiator Removal

Has anyone got first hand experience of fitting a rad on a mk2?

The manual makes it sound easy (as ever) but tips to make life a

little easier would be fantastic.

I assume it'll come out from underneath with the fan still attached.

Any tips on getting the hoses off as all I'm doing is mashing my

knuckles trying to wiggle them off and they've yet to move!

I thought it lifted out the top. Just remove plastic trim undo pipes and mounting straps and lift out. Wear some gardening gloves to protect your hands and make sure the jubilee clips are well loose.
