I have warning lights on my 2007 rav4 XTR that show check abs fault, check brake fault and check VSC I have also noticed i have no brake lights the car still drives of and brakes are working until you test them hard and the abs will not kick in.

I am loathed to take it to a dealer as they charge lots and seem to replace many parts until it get fixed.

someone please help

Hello Paul and welcome to the club

Sounds to me as if the ABS sensor is not working. Depends on how competent you are but I would be off to the dealer with that one, bearing in mind the safety implications.

Having had recent experience of a similar fault, you need to get the car checked with Toyota and have the fault code read. It turned out to be the brake light switch in my car. This brought on all the warning lights that you have displayed. It cost me £32 fitted at my local Toyota dealer.
