Best Sri Or Cai For An 1Zz

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hi all. I own a toyota corolla which used to be 1.4 liters (i.e. the 4zzfe engine) but I have oversized it to 1.8 litters by using all the internal parts (crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons) plus the intake manifold and throttle body from the 1zzfe engine. I only kept my engine block, oil sump and header.

So basically I have an 1zzfe engine under the bonnet now. More description, info and dyno test can be found on my signature.

My question is, what is the best CAI or SRI for the 1zz engine. I want to add some more power but not lose torque at low ends etc.

I would appreciate to hear the opinions/experiences of people who have actually tried on something and not assumptions like "I heard that my cousins brother's sister in law son has used a KN filter and he is happy with it.

For the record I have just a K&N panel in the filter box now.

Any syggestions will be very much appreciated.

Thank you!
