Praise For Our Little Auris!

I kind of inherited this car, my mrs bought it new before we met, and now we're married we decided to keep the newer car (The Auris)

It's always done the job, I've never been to keen on it due to one factor: Power... but apart from that it's always taken the mrs, me and our two german shepherds about in comfort.

It recently turned 3 years old, so off it went for its first ever MOT and passed with flying colours (2 advisories for tyres which now have been replaced) but the guy said it was a good clean car, I had a look underneath when it on the ramps and everything looked like new.

We recently drove to North Scotland (The Highlands) - (From Kent) with a detour into Yorkshire - with the 2 dogs and our luggage, the car didnt miss a beat, it covered about 1700 miles in total, in 5 days and averaged 52.6MPG on the motorways. 4 tanks in total (4th tank we're still using at the moment.)

Apart from the usual 10, 20 and 30k servicing and tyres all its ever needed is a new altenator which was done under warranty. (It's just turned 34k.)

It regularly ferries the dogs to the park/lakes

It helped us move in the snow last December

Taken us to Scotland and back

Rescued me from Central London when the trains were on the blink

And generally, it takes some serious abuse with me gunning it all the time.

Seriously impressed!

My Auris had its MOT today, 2 tyres getting a little thin apart from that straight through no problems...

Absolutely loved it mate - so peaceful and unspoilt.

My mrs and me (And the dogs) fell in love - at some point I think we want to move there :)

Agree with all the above!

I found the AURIS very spacious, managed to fit 2 mountain bikes, and a weeks worth of stuff (including climbing gear) with the seats down, and I could see out the rear window still!
