B9005 Sat Nav Unit Cd Player

Hi iv got the b9005 col satnav audio system, but recently the cd player wont play any discs, it keeps saying check disc. iv tried using a cd cleaner disc but no joy. Does anyone know if you can just change the cd unit or does the whole system need to be changed?

I have been thinking of just adding a cd changer if one can be fitted to the unit but ideally I would like to just repair or change the cd unit without the expense of renewing the whole audio unit as this would obviously be a large expense.

Any help would be appreciated
