Changing Number Plates Confusion

Hi

I am off to look at a Toyota Celica very soon. I have done a full HPI and it noted that it has had 2 plate changes. It was 1st registered with its original plat, then registered with a personalised plate. There are no other changed listed.

My problem is the car is carrying it original plates, the ones it was 1st registered with. If the personalised plates where removed should that show as another registration? Or at least show up that it was removed?

If anyone has any information, knowledge or experience it will be most appreciated. I am all set to but this car today but don't want to get into a messy registration issue.

Please help

Thanks

I've never dealt with it before but the way you have put it, it sounds ok.

plate change 1 - from original to personalised plate

plate change 2 -from personalised plate back to original.

How many owners has it had? If a change of ownership lines up with the plate changes then it's pretty self explanatory. Good luck with it!

This is normal. No cause for concern.

I bought it and am very happy. The documents had the correct reg and owner. I got a great deal and am hoping for many happy years with it :)
