Hi all

The light of a yellow engine came on my dash although there doesnt seem to be anything wrong with the vehicle.

Anyone know what this light stands for??

Yeah Buddy ,

That light is called a "check engine lamp", it doesn't mean open the bonnet and see if the engine is still there. It signifies that a fault code has been logged into the vehicles computer for various reasons--eg.a temporary failure of an engine sensor or a permanent failure of sensor or component.

Hey thanks for the reply old guy,managed to get hold of someon with a diagnostic tool and this is the message it pat out:

P0135 CIRCUITO DEL CALENTADORDE LA SONDADE OXIGENIO (BANCO 1 SENSOR 1 )

Which roughly translated says

Heater circuit of the oxygen sensor ( bank 1 sensor 1 )

Do you happen to know where i can locate this sensor?
