Yaris T2 Abs Warning Light

I have recently bought a 2004 Yaris T2 and the ABS warning light has started to remain on when driving.

Does anyone know of whether this may be a light based fault rather than an actual problem with the ABS system?

Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks very much

tells you what you need to know.

Sensors are cheap on eBay (only buy new) and handed. Buy from Germany eBay and £30 odd. Use Google translate to understand adverts if you don't speak German They answer queries.. I wrote in English and used Google to transalte asking about carriage. V Good service and faultless to date ...

remove the connectors on the rear hubs and check for corrosion in the plug's clean up with some connector cleaner and put back together and drive the light should go out

Check that the toothed rotors on the front wheels are not cracked, they have been known to rust and split. Not possible on the rears as they are integral with the hub. As advised on another reply the connectors on the rear hubs can corrode.
