2001 Clutch Adjustment

My son has a 2001 Yaris and the bite on the clutch is near the top. Anyway this can be adjusted?

Nope.

New clutch plate is the only answer.

But you could try bleeding it.

I think genuine Toyota parts: plate plus cover plus bearing is c £150+ but you can good stuff for c £135 - see eBay.

Fitting? 2-3 hours plus...

Little change from £500 ? Mr Clutch/specialists might be cheaper but ? quality

The clutch on my 2000 1.0 is the same bleeding the clutch regularly seems to help. Once it starts slipping I'll get it sorted.
