Power Steering Fluid

Hello all can anyone tell if there is power steering fluid level resivour to check on t180?

I would imagine not, its assisted by an electric motor rather than hydraulics

If its like my Avensis T180 it does have PAS. Take the engine cover off and you'll see it at the left hand side. But it could be different on your T180...

Hi gazzat,

As yours is an 07 Auris, I would presume it is the same as my TR,which has an electric Motor Power assist. No hydraulics as ptaurissr has said.

If you still believe it is hydraulic, the simplest way is to look for a power Steering pump which will be driven by the same drive belt as the alaternator and other auxiliaries. But I very much doubt you will find this device.

electric steering on the auris..dont put pas fluid in the brake fluid bottle like one of our customers did....its very expensive
