Drivers Seat Removal

Anyone know how to remove the drivers seat from a 2007RAV4 T180 The side of th eleather upholstery is torn/worn ---would Mr T cover this as a goodwill gesture If not is it difficut to remove

There is a warranty TSB for cracks in the leather. Don't take the seat out, see if a dealer will take it as a policy warranty. Even if they won't, taking the seat out is easy but the tricky part is securing the seat belt pre-tensioners. The connectors are special and need to be shorted with the installed shorting pins otherwise the pre-tensionors and maybe the seat side air bags will deploy.

Subject has been debated on numerous occasions.

Anchor man has given some good advice and i had my leather seat base replaaced under the warranty as this is a known "anomoly" regarding the drivers seat tear.
