HI, I RECENTLY HAVE PUT A NEW INLET CAM SHAFT ROCKER SHAFT AND ROCKERS INTO MY CELICA AND NOW EVERYTIME IT GETS HOT I GET A REALLY BAD HESITATION AND MY IDLE RISES UP TO 1600RPM AND I GET INTERMITTENT LIFT, I CHECKED THE FAULT CODE AND IT HAS COME UP WITH P1349 VVT MALFUNCTION, SINCE THEN I HAVE DONE AN OIL CHANGE, REPLACE THE VVT SPROCKET WITH THE NEW DENSO MODIFED ONE AND I HAVE ALSO REPLACED THE OCV SOLINOID ASWELL AS CLEANING OUT THE GAUZE FILTERS AND THERE HAS BEEN NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL.

I HAVE UNPLUGGED THE OCV SOLINOID AND THE CAR IF FAULTLESS DRIVE ABSOLUTLY FINE APART FROM HAVING NO VARIABLE, ANY IDEAS?

New bits can be faulty!!

You say you've cleaned the filters for the OCV how many times? If more than once were they blocked again?
