Verso Won't Start...

My lovely and fairly reliable Verso will not start on its own. Insert the key lights flicker and relays chatter but the car won't start. It will jump start and run. When engine is running and the doors are open the brightness of the interior lights changes... Can any body advise?

Does the engine turn over at all? Have you checked the Battery?

Yep! I recon check the Battery 1st. Hows the amps out of the alternator? :unsure:
