Has anybody been sucsessful in making a claim for mis-sold PPI from Toyota Finance.

I remember reading somewhere that PPI claims are not appplicable to the ppi that you pay on car finance.

You can get PPI on car loans. Your first point of contact is with the finance company, if you think you were mis-sold any product then you should contact them first. There are thousands of companies out there making thousands of pounds out of this, when in fact the process of claiming any mis-sold insurance is quite simple

We currently have a claim going through against the finance company. Yes we did go through a company who is doing this for us, however the Toyota Financial Services are being difficult & it has now been refered to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

When we first put in this claim Toyota said there was no PPI purchased when infact it clearly was as you could see it on the finance agreement. The company dealing with the claim state we have a perfectly good claim & that Toyota Financial Services are holding approx £1,300 of our money.

A finance company being difficult? Well I never

They obviously think you DONT have a claim, otherwise it would be settled and not passed on to the Ombudsman
