MMmmmmm

Thats certainly an interesting one....................

you do mean the 4A-GZE (160 BHP) as fitted to the MK1 MR2 supercharger ???

Certainly never heard that request before.............

'cos if ur running a 3S-GE already u got around 154-158 BHP avaliable to you already !

If u wanna swap the motor then drop in a 3s-GTE from a GT4 or MR2 tubby, and bolt it to a late MR2 tubby 'box- for that LSD effect :)

no i have the us spec st with the 4a-fe and the S series mounts on the 3sgte wont swap out, ive seen many 6th gens with the 20v 4age swap and the 4agze swap from the fwd ae111 corrollas and i would figure it would bolt up the same as the 6ths gens 7afe....im just curious to see if anyone has done it and the degree of difficulty the swap would be, their is a celica based -gze swap on www.flashoptions.com running for $799 us dollars and i am very interested in completing it..

The main difference then is the cylinder head. As i'm sure you know the FE head is an economy head while the GE head is a performance one. the Z as i understand it simply denotes supercharger as the T (gTe) denotes turbo. This being so it should be a straightforward swap, though i would recommend fitting the transmission from your GZE donor vehicle. Of course you'll also need the ECU and engine loom for the donor engine .

The swap is possible my shop just put a 4agze in a 90 ST.

www.monkeymotorsports.com

I was searching to see if i could verify any other shop has done it, as of right now all i see is alot of questions and no proof anyone else has done it, I suppose we can now say we are sure we are the first in the state of Louisiana, probably the south and maybe in the U.S. (i doubt the last)

Depending on weither this is a Levin or a MR2 motor you will have to modify the side mounts by cutting and there is a slight differance in the axles depending on what year the motor came from. Email any specific questions and photo requests. Link is on the page.

Sorry guys- didnt know the FE unit was similar to the 4A-GE :!Removed!:

Sounds like a good conversion though- with the right pulley i believe u can run 190 BHP quite easily- checkout www.fensport.co.uk

hope this makes up for my mistake :!Removed!:
