Times out for me. Who's your ISP? I'm on Virgin Media cable, so I wouldn't put it past them to be up to something or just using cheap, under capacity bandwidth across to America!

lol I'm on Virgin too and Priuschat is very hit and miss at the moment - more miss than hit!

Hmmm, interesting ... I've just been to Priuschat forum (never been before) and avast just informed me that the page was infected, could be why some of you are having problems today or it could just be avast reporting a false positive, though that's unlikely.

There are a few posts on Prius chat about virus warnings.

If you google for 'prius chat virus' you can read all about it on sites other than prius chat.

Tried prius chat from home and it is fine.

Tried from work and it is as dead as a dodo.

It works for me, work and home (Virgin) no virus warnings either, trust me our works network is like a nuclear bunker  if there was a virus on it, I would be kicked off it

Kingo

Did it again tonight, it's infected with Maleware, if anyone has been infected, download a program called Malewarebytes (its free), install it, update it then run a scan, it'll catch what your AV hasn't.

There is a thread over on prius chat asking for help tracking down the problem.

They aren't sure if it is a real virus or a false positive.

I don't get any virus warnings but then again I am running Firefox with noscript and adblock plus firewall and AV.

Fascinating; a sexist virus? . . . . .

I went onto Priuschat without any problems, using Firefox and Microsoft Security Essentials. Then I did a quick scan with Malwarebytes and it found nothing.

I will leave a full scan running when I go to bed, but it doesn't look as if there is anything there.

Like you, I'm running the same browser, noscript and adblock plus, windows firewall and Avast AV and never had a problem with a virus or maleware in all the time I've had a PC.

From the quick read I've had, it seems that its only Avast AV that's showing up the warning, it could be from one of the ad's they use or from someone's linked sig, either way I don't allow full scripts to run on site's I'm not familiar with.

I've run my AV and Malewarebytes and they've shown nothing, so again, it could just be Avast reporting a false positive.

Its interesting that it only happens to me when I've googled priuschat, if I go there from a direct link from here, it shows nothing.
