Description

By 1996, all JZ engines were now featuring Toyota's variable valve timing, VVT-i. Toyota made some other updates in 1996. 1JZ was now using a single CT 15B turbo for generating boost. Water jackets were modified for improved cylinder cooling and cam friction was reduced witha special coating. Compression ratio was also increased to 9.0:1. This reworked engine was called the third generation. Though there were no change in power output, the engine was more efficient and more responsive thanks to the increase in torque in lower RPMs.

I recon if you can get it for £999 and pick it up its a bargin for new engine. If i had a car that it'll fit, I'd buy it for cheap money.

Its located in Saga in Japan, so would need to Shell over £600 for delivery :(

£1600... plus import duty and VAT, so add about 30% or so...

Oh, you would then need to find a 1JZ-VVTi ECU. Hens teeth :D

Also, nit picking, the JZA-70 never recieved this engine as per the Ad :D

The 1JZ is a great engine, some would argue better than the larger 2jz.
